Right priorities will never choose us… this coming from last week’s homework of the Beth Moore study, but I am reviewing… we need to be intentional about praise, about praying, about caring for people… my Melinda greatly encouraged me yesterday… and so I desired to keep on keeping on…
she and I also had a television discussion… shows that were letting us down, and ones we were enjoying. I got off the phone with her and started watching law and Order SVU (still no capita "l") or as I sometimes call it… SUV… and what a huge disappointment, last night’s show was so lousy I fell asleep in the middle …
and two layouts… two photos I have been wanting to scrap and they came together easy-peasy… first one is Nikolas and Sarah’s engagement….
and the 2nd one is our darling C*line… with her winning attitude….
Katherine and I are debating/discussing Twilight ,… should we read it or not? She doesn’t much care, but I really want to… but is it appropriate for Christians? anyway this morning I went to a site and was reading to her some of the commentary…
Temptation provides a lot of the compelling tension in the Twilight world. The vampire in Edward is tempted by Bella’s scent—it’s all he can do to not devour her at first…. the characters show an impressive mastery of temptation. Edward makes up his mind that he will not eat Bella, no matter how hungry he feels or how good she smells to him. He decides that something is more important than his hunger: Bella’s life.
kind of hard not to laugh… and I kept thinking I am thinking about reading a book where the big struggle in the romance is whether or not to make a meal of your beloved… well. I will keep you posted..
