I am fixing to go to the hospital with our good friends, Desley and Wil, as she has been in labour forever, and we think we are much closer to Baby arriving. Our house will be baby-sitting Rose and Sariah.

I was thinking back to another birth i was present for, other than my own kidlets… the back-story is while pregnant with Melinda, one of the doctors in the practice was so obnoxious… made a reference to Jenni as a mistake to "avoid" in my pregnancy with Melinda. Lots of tough words later, they made an exception to their policy that patients could not blacklist a physician from a birth… fast forward a year or so, and a friend goes into labour 6 weeks early, husband is out of the country, and I go to be with her. Beloved doctor who had delivered Jenni had been with my friend all night and about the time that baby extends his hand instead of his head, and the decision for a C-section is made… BAD doctor comes on duty… he asks me sarcastically, "Do you mind if I deliver your friend’s baby?" Well I did mind, but didn’t feel I could say so… anyway, I did just fine, watching the C-section… whew 
and Mom and baby did fine also!
