Katherine and Sarah should be past Petawawa/ Pembroke where a breakfast stop at Timmy’s had been scheduled and closing on on Ottawa. They had delays yesterday as there was mucho road construction (you know the tired old joke: "Canada has four seasons Winter Winter Winter and Road Construction"
.) and a broken toilet on the bus. But when i spoke to them last they had stopped in Hearst for pizza.
They will having lunch here. The restaurant has an extremely energetic website… hope the kids are well-rested. This afternoon they are visiting the National Gallery of Canada… a place that my parents visited in the 60’s.
They are performing on Sunday at MusicFest Canada. Here is the link for the performance schedule (10:30 AM Sir Winston Churchill Senior concert Band.) This is the link for the syllabus and I have no idea what that means… they are B300.
I received a funny email card from that Southern Woman… but she has me mistaken with a thinking person I sat there and listened to those two creatures sing "IT’s Movie night It’s movie night" for about 5 minutes before I realized i was supposed to click on the bags of popcorn…
Bethany received another scholarship… she already received some for her great marks but then someone showed up with more entrance money… way to go chica!
Katherine just called (10 AM)to tell me they were two hours from Ottawa and to hear who would be in the final two of Idol… she was clear she didn’t want to know any details she didn’t want to ruin the fun of watching the recording. I told her it was *surprise surprise* "David and David." and she said "I’m relieved." okay so now the meister- musician can get on with the business at hand.

Bless your heart! That’s what southern women say to people who crack them up. (It said, “Click on the Popcorn Bags…” didn’t it?) Oh well — bless your heart.
You would be welcome to come along — and you wouldn’t have to be quiet as a mouse. Here’s why–although I’m getting very excited, I’m also getting kinda freaked out — about being lonely.
You might get a phone call next week. . .just to hear a voice.

Now I get why Angie is so excited about “next week”. Bingo…
Glad they are making their way and almost there. I, too, was relieved for Katherine’s sake

I had forgotten about this. . . .I love how we could make each other laugh. I remember this week so well. . . getting ready for a 2-day getaway by myself.
How I would have loved for Beth to have been there. . . to scrap, laugh, and cry together.
