Jenni rocks! really she does, we have been packing up Katherine, I was tracking down music for her, lifting audio tracks to play on her mp3 payer, ripping music from a CD, grabbing some Beth Moore teachings for her devotional time on the trip, and Jenni has been organizing things for Katherine as well as baking some cookies for her trip. Katherine and I had gone shopping for the non-gassy snacks, and we picked up some things for the house… Jenni was separating them, and she brings a plastic bag of snacks to Katherine, saying. "you will be eating a lot." Katherine gets a wee bit defensive explaining that there are only three meals paid for, and it is 25 hours on the bus… yada yada yada… Jenni cocks her head to one side… Yes, Katherine, that is what I said, you will be eating a lot.
We also managed (Jenni, Joel [who came home for lunch] and I) to get much more work done in completing the transition of rooms.
but the title of my post… these are photos of my present for Mother’s Day that Jenni made me…
she by herself and with her own design, took three toilet paper rolls, formed them together, and then colored the pattern on paper towel, and cut that into circles, and glued those onto the toilet paper rolls… I wish you could this up close and touch it, (so be sure to enlarge the photos) the texture is amazing… but the cool part????
She said, "it is a ‘T,’ for trust because I trust you, …or it can be for Tony. "
so we are getting ready to go, picked up Hannah early and Emily just got home, and we are going to take the K*Belle across the street to her bus, loaded down with cookies from her big sister, non-gassy foods, and lots of AI music. (note from Katherine’s blog: I did pray for them to win., but also for them to behave honorably.)

that southern woman that loves you
I love the “t” and think I need to make one for myself to remember to trust. . . . sigh. (Yep, that girl’s got some insights, doesn’t she?)
. . .and “tony” is nice, too.
I’m praying for your girl and her “non-gassy” snacks. Honestly? I’ve never categorized snacks in such a way.
Oh well. . .lots of love. I’m back to cleaning out the corners of my bedroom.
ME
I really am a dork. . .I saw “that southern woman. . ” and wondered who stole my idea. Then I realized it was my comment all along.
Are you sure you want to be my friend? I *am* kinda ditzy at times!
Melinda
I was wondering who this “southern woman” was, until I finally clicked on the name and then IT clicked
Ann (mamachef)

Much luck to Katherine on her trip
