Hey ya’ll Emily here! I am guest blogging and I am going to write about my spectacular sister Katherine. I’ve known Katherine my whole life and each and every second i have loved her. Katherine is totally forgiving and me and my endless mistakes means she is always there for me and When I am down she always picks me right back up. She is turning the dazzling and luxurious age of 17.She thinks there’s not going to be much happening because at 18 you are an adult at 16 you are getting older. But with Katherine I know its wrong because Katherine has been responsible since 13! Katherine and I watch Hannah Montana and we also Listen to endless amounts of Jonas Brothers. She has taught me how to apologize and she also was my at-home coach for gymnastics. We would go out everyday and Do back flips and Somersaults. I remember on a cold rainy day I had not been behaving so mommy made me walk a whole two miles to school. I was pretty much sobbing and knocking on the door. And the last thing i expected happened. Katherine came out with a winter jacket and hat and walked me all the way to school. These are the things that make you realized you are loved and I see these things in Katherine every day.I love you KAtherine, From Your BabeEmily!!note from Mommmmmy…. Emily wrote this entirely by herself, no editing…. but i need to add a note or two, it is not two miles to school, it was not raining, and the issue at hand was that Emily said she would rather walk than do as I had asked her. Katherine said to me I know that we cant just back-track, but I can walk with her right? She reasoned with me why this would not lessen the intended consequence at all, and that there was in this a valuable demosntration of how Jesus looks after us… so I said yes, and then went out looking for Katherine and gave her a ride home after she dropped Emily off at achool…

::hee:: somehow I just *knew* that there was a Paul Harvey ending coming to the blog.
Emily, you did a great job. You have a wonderful big sister (more than just one, by the way). This was a very special tribute to her.
I can’t wait to meet all you guys in person one of these days. At this rate, if you guys keep writing and clueing me in — I’ll be able to tell everyone apart!!

she is a terrific big sister, isn’t she? ever since day 1, the Lord has had a hand in her life and she has lived trying to show others His character. I remember back at CCMiami, Ms. Lynn told us she had led someone to the Lord–she was around 5 years old, I think…Mommy should probably clarify this story, because she remembers it better. And all throughout her years, she’s been bringing people to Jesus. I remember her bringing Amanda to youth group in Homestead. You really are a brilliant light, Svenska!!

Great post, Emily! But despite all your Mom’s disclaimers, we are still calling the authorities on her for sending you out to “Siberia”.

Here I am reading this almost 3 years later. Katherine has only grown more special in that time and she continues to shine. Emily, you are a very blessed young lady to have such a sister (and you have a pretty special glow about you, too)!

What a beautiful post. Such and insight into the relationship between these two beautiful sisters and their beautiful mommy.
