Water Walkin’

Keep praying because this walking on water does not happen without it… seriously i thought about naming this post Keeping it real, Edition 2… things have been rocky here and there…
Tony and I argued… lesson learned ….issues you had before the disaster will be issues afterward the disaster… no worries, we are fine… my point is… don’t think that you become immune to the little stuff, the little stuff actually has more power… and that, beloved, is the nature of a fallen world.
I am still finding the balance with the pain medication, so that i am awake, alert, regular, and with managed pain. Easier said than done.
On the other hand and it is a huge gigantic Tony-sized hand… God is continuing to enable walking on water… and keeping my attention focused on the author and finisher of my faith keeps us coasting along high above the waves.
I am chuckling as I type because we just had a minor drug plan crisis… but never mind we are back to the top of water, sputter, sputter….
and how can anyone be struggling when the ducklings are in town… look at what they gave me …. Katherine waited in line for 5 hours with her friends Amanda and Cali, and she played on the escalator with PW’s boys.
Yep, the view is good up here. please keep praying

Aaaw – this post warms my heart. Glad to read your thoughts (hear your voice). Pioneer Woman! How very cool of Katherine and her friends!
Happy Turkey Day Beth (and fam). Still praying.

You know. . . I remember, as I walked through a similar situation a couple years ago, that little things still get to “blow up” when given an opportunity. Maybe it’s because they don’t get dealt with while looking at “big picture” things. . . ? Regardless, there’s an awful lot of junk we get to deal with because of this fallen world thing.
I need to tell you that I dreamed about you. . . .all of you–and the ducklings last night. I woke up – and immediately wanted to go back to sleep, because I wanted to savor every minute.
Much love to you and all the ducklings. . . . we are THANKFUL for you all.

Okay. . . so I blogged about my dream. I even inserted pictures. It’s a beautiful blog post, if I can say so myself!

Katherine, what a wonderful gift you gave to your mom. I love the photo’s and I’m very jealous you got to meet her and her husband and boys. Can’t wait to look through the cookbook. Gobble, gobble!
