Some Hockey bits

the other day i put my status on facebook as having bovine flu (joking), not knowing that there really was a bovine flu… i had almost put wine flu but didn’t want to give anyone the wrong idea… well i have been to the clinic and have been pronounced “really sick.†But “really sick†doesnt get you antibiotics, or anything else, except don’t let the door hit you on the way out.
Dana is not well either… (as well as most people i know here around town…)but we had the the two younger boys here briefly (Finn has pi-lano)… (before anyone wonders about them being here while we were sick.. they were sick too {or at least drippy and coughy}… we were careful.. I had even had a face mask they had made me wear at the clinic… and there were exigent reasons for doing this)
I was somewhat comatose… but that does not stop Carson from having a good time… “where’s the castle?†his new favourite toy over here… Beauty and the Beast Polly Pocket castle …. he has an army man that he uses … and he goes around, stomping thru the castle, asking, “how’s it going, Princess?†and “where are you now, Princess?â€
and Chip… found a the hockey stick that is a favourite of his older brothers… and he began swatting at a ball nearby… honestly it must be in the water… this need to chase an object with a stick…
I am now trying to picture Sydney Crosby with a soother in his mouth…
I have been loving this photo from Dana’s facebook… Carse doesn’t much like Finn’s “pi-lano lessons†either… but i like getting some extra time with him alone… those boys bring sunlight into my days.
okay head is pounding… going back to bed…

Those boyz are beyond precious! Hope everyone starts to feel better soon!!
Dana
ok, so this is awesome. I love that photo too. It reminds me just how much this boy loves, and I mean LOVES, his big broder. Carson thinks it’s a pretty great consolation to be able to go to gramma Beth’s instead of pilano.

I love the stories about the boys. Reminds me of my boys and makes me imagine what it would be like for my boys to live near you…
But seriously, the hockey thing IS in the water in Canada!
Tony
That is what Don Cherry calls, “second effort.”
